Wanaka Scaffolding was founded by Andrew Strawson in 2000, back when Wānaka was a small but fast-growing town. Over the years, Andrew’s vision for “Wanaka Scaff” built a strong reputation for reliability, exceptional customer service, and innovative scaffold solutions.

As of last year, Wanaka Scaffolding is operating under new ownership. While the ownership has changed, the same experienced team remains on the ground, continuing to deliver the same trusted service our clients know and expect. Wanaka Scaffolding is now part of a larger group, bringing with it added support, resources, and opportunities for continued growth and innovation.

We remain a locally operated business, specialising in all scaffolding from small maintenance works to high-end residential and commercial market in the Wānaka area. Our team primarily works with Tube and Clip scaffolding and also supplies H-Frame scaffolding solutions.

Most of our projects are based around construction sites in Wānaka and its surrounding areas. We’re known for delivering safe, high-quality access through custom scaffold designs tailored to each client’s unique needs — from build to dismantle.

In addition to construction, we also service the events industry throughout the year, providing scaffolding for weddings, outdoor events, and film production sites.
